Cityside at Wheeler: May Mobility

Cityside at Wheeler 8th graders Thomas, Henry, and Josh researched public transportation issues in Providence and created a pro bono promo video for a new autonomous transportation company called May Mobility. Learning that nearly 40% of residents in one neighborhood alone were without personal transportation, this Cityside project combined research, civic engagement, economics, and marketing skills to help raise awareness. Just another example of how the Cityside at Wheeler program is empowering students to use interdisciplinary learning to become engaged citizen-stakeholders for this community and others.
