The Wheeler School is proud to be home to a vibrant, global community of over 5,000 alumni whose contributions and achievements bring our school mission—”to learn our powers and be answerable for their use”—to life.
Wheeler alumni maintain lifelong bonds with former classmates, faculty, and advisors and continue to remain an active, essential part of the life of the school today. The Alumni Office and the Wheeler Alumni Association are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of belonging for the alumni community. The Spirit Giveth Life!” ✨
Congratulations and thank you to our Purple & Gold Circle Alumnae (graduates of 50 or more years) who gathered for mini-reunions over the summer and shared these amazing photos.
The Class of 1956 celebrated an impressive 70 years as Wheeler Alumnae together in Narragansett.
“There were only 30 students in the class (of 1956), so for six of us to connect like this in person is something,” shared Jean Johnston Mulligan ‘56. “We were in awe that we were all together again, standing side by side and able to reconnect. We had a great time and shared lots of Wheeler memories.”

The Class of 1972 has also stayed close, gathering more regularly in Little Compton since 2018, well before their 50th Reunion milestone four years ago. As Cindy Wolfson Sipkin ’72 notes, it’s “a warm and loving group,” adding, “Wonderful to have these long friendships and we communicate during the year.”

Bay Area alums! 🌉
Join us for "Wheeler on the Road: San Francisco," hosted by alumni siblings Priscilla Tyler ’11, Wilson Tyler ’14, and Isabel Tyler ’09!

Connect with fellow alums over Italian-inspired light bites and drinks at Piccino Presidio, located at the edge of the Presidio National Park and Golden Gate Bridge.
Special guests include Dan Miller P`15, P`17, former head of school (2003-2017), and Mark Anderson P`27, current head of school, who will share reflections and updates going into his second year at Wheeler.
This intimate gathering is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your Wheeler ties in the Bay Area and learn more about what`s new back in Providence and at the farm.

Exciting alumni news! 🎶Marc Trachtenberg ’94, founder of Rock-a-Baby music classes, has advanced to the final public voting round to have his original song selected as the opening theme for the upcoming @Netflix comedy, “Minimum Wage.”
Marc credits his time performing at Wheeler and the mentorship of his favorite teachers, Kristin Sprague and Marilyn Levine, for inspiring his lifelong journey in music.
