Cityside at Wheeler: May Mobility

Cityside at Wheeler 8th graders Thomas, Henry, and Josh researched public transportation issues in Providence and created a pro bono promo video for a new autonomous transportation company called May Mobility. Learning that nearly 40% of residents in one neighborhood alone were without personal transportation, this Cityside project combined research, civic engagement, economics, and marketing skills to help raise awareness. Â Just another example of how the Cityside at Wheeler program is empowering students to use interdisciplinary learning to become engaged citizen-stakeholders for this community and others.
