Neuroscience Devices Excite Campus Interest

Wheeler has acquired three EEG brain-machine interface devices for students and teachers to use to explore neuroscience across the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools.  Last year, then 4th-grader Ella Nickerson heard about neuroscience in her Lower School Science course when Aerie enrichment teacher Travis Dumais visited for a class discussion.  Since then, Ella and other students on campus have begun independent studies and electives, and classroom activities using three devices.
