Warriors’ Olivia Bush ’20 Commits to Bucknell

Wheeler School senior Olivia Bush ‘20 has signed her National Letter of Intent to become a member of the Bucknell University field hockey program.

Bush recently guided the Warriors to a third consecutive Rhode Island State Championship game. Along the way, the senior registered a team-high 54 points, which included 18 goals and 18 assists, for a Warriors team who captured the RIIL Division II Regular Season Championship with a 13-1 mark.

The future Bison’s 54 points were the fourth-highest point total of any Rhode Island field hockey player, while her 18 assists were tops in the state. Leaving Wheeler as a two-time All-State selection in field hockey, this season Bush garnered 1st Team All-State and All-Division honors and was also named Division II Player of the Year.
