Commencement 2025
We can’t wait to celebrate the Class of 2025 at Wheeler’s 136th Commencement! The ceremony will take place at 10am on Friday, June 13 at Wheeler Farm. We will add more information and content to this webpage as we get closer to the big day, but for now, graduates and their families can find more details in the Commencement message from Upper School Dean of Students Abraham Henderson (emailed on April 10 and posted in the Parent and Guardian Portal).

Get to Know Our Commencement Speaker
We’re happy to share that Dr. Francis Su, the Benediktsson-Karwa Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and a former president of the Mathematical Association of America, will be this year’s Commencement speaker!
We got to know Dr. Su a bit earlier this year, when he visited Wheeler for a talk about the beauty and power that math can add to our lives. The topic was the focus of his award-winning book, “Mathematics for Human Flourishing,” which has been translated into eight languages and offers an inclusive vision of what math is, who it’s for, and why anyone should learn it. Upper School students, faculty, and staff were so enthralled by Dr. Su’s presentation that he was the leading nominee among the senior class to be this year’s Commencement speaker.
“I’m excited to return to Wheeler,” Dr. Su says. “When I visited earlier this year, Wheeler students received me with such warmth and enthusiasm! So I look forward to celebrating this graduation milestone with you all.”
