Off to a Great Start

Wheeler’s two campuses were full of activity, smiles (often under masks), and lots of anticipation as 784 students and their families, from The Nest through grade 12, joined faculty and staff in starting a new school year today.

Mariana Ma ’23 said she is looking forward to being back in person with all the grades this year, and fellow 11th-grade student Nicholas Karamanian ’23 said he is looking forward to Wheeler’s Model UN conference. Grady Mahoney ’28 and Dillon Fitzgibbon ’28, who originally met in Hamilton 1st grade, are both looking forward to and ready for the new freedom, responsibilities, and challenges of Middle School, while Nora Gresh ’28 says she’s excited to study Chinese because she loves to learn about new cultures and study languages. And Marc Joseph ’24 is looking forward to taking new classes with new classmates and teachers.

We’ll share more of these students’ stories on social media in the coming weeks, and we invite you to tell us what you’re looking forward to at Wheeler this year. Please email wheelercommunications@wheelerschool.org, along with a photo of yourself, and thank you!

We’re happy to post some of our own photos from the first day of classes below. Here’s to the start of a new school year!
