Wheeler Summer Camp Pool Fundraising

Since its opening 25 years ago, thousands of Wheeler Summer campers have learned to swim in the Blackwell Pool and experienced the joys this important skill brings. However, this pool no longer meets the high demand for our summer programming, and the time available for each camper to spend in the water is limited by its size.

The new swim center will feature an 8-lane, 25-yard pool – double the size of the current pool! – as well as an easy-entry training pool for our youngest swimmers. This means more pool time for all campers in a much larger space to cool off, build water confidence, and create unforgettable memories.

But before we can dive in, we need your help to “fill the pool” – not with water, but with the final round of funding. Thanks to generous supporters, we’re already close. Now we’re turning to the families who know just how special Wheeler Summer Camp is: you.
