The Nest at Wheeler

Nature-Based Early Learning for Ages 2 Years and 9 Months up to 5 Years
The Nest, nestled in the heart of Wheeler Farm in Seekonk, MA, provides an early childhood education that meets each child’s developmental needs through joyful, hands-on, experiential learning in the natural world. Our nature-based curriculum integrates academics and social-emotional skills and inspires a love of learning and connection to the natural world.
What We Offer
Social-Emotional Development: Children develop resilience, emotional regulation, and cooperation skills through guided activities and play-based peer instruction.
Balanced Indoor and Outdoor Experiences: Each day combines focused indoor instruction, including literacy and math lessons, along with outdoor exploration, helping children apply what they’ve learned in concrete, hands-on ways.
Child-Centered Curriculum: We tailor our curriculum to each child’s interests and developmental level, fostering a love of learning while promoting collaboration and community.
Low Student-to-Teacher Ratio: Small class sizes allow for personalized attention, greater safety, and meaningful connections between children and teachers.
Support Services and Enrichment: On-site occupational and speech therapy sessions are available for students who benefit from additional developmental support, and weekly Art and Spanish classes expose children to creative expression and language learning, and help build their motor skills and global awareness.
