Breakthrough Providence

Breakthrough Providence has a dual mission: to create a pathway to college for low-income, academically-motivated middle school students in Providence Public Schools, and to encourage talented high school and college students to pursue careers in education.

Learn at Breakthrough Providence this Summer!
Breakthrough Providence is dedicated to supporting Providence middle schoolers on their journeys through middle school, high school, and college, as they develop into critical, socially conscious change-makers in our community.

Applying to Learn
Enrollment is open to all Providence 6th graders who are able to fully commit to the program through 8th grade graduation. All interested students are strongly encouraged to complete our application in English or Spanish before Monday, February 13, 2017. Completed forms can either be returned to the student's guidance department or mailed directly to Breakthrough Providence at 216 Hope Street, Providence, RI, 02906.
